This is a very good tutorial for someone
that has no experience reading sheet music or playing an instrument. It
teaches the basics of reading sheet music in an easy to understand format. The
tunes all have the fingerings printed above the notes (lots of good,
traditional tunes and songs are included). Guitar Chords are also included
with all tunes.
The tutorial and the CD are very
reasonably priced.
One nice feature of this book is the
unique fingering charts included. The whistle shown in charts is positioned as
if you were actually holding it, making it much easier to visualize the
fingerings (see pic below).
The CD is full of tunes from the book.
You will need to have a Whistle in the key of D to make proper use of this book.
