Dixon instruments are made in the UK by Tony Dixon (also well known for
his high quality flutes). They are made of PVC and have a beautiful clear tone that has
enough volume to hold it's own in any session without being overpowering. They play easily
in both octaves, making them the perfect choice as a first Low D Whistle, as well as a
great instrument for the experienced player.
This set includes one Flute head, one Whistle head and one body. You can
also purchase the Dixon Low D Whistle by itself in tunable or
non-tunable versions.
